The scarcity of research on the sexual practices and understandings of sexuality among Iranian people means we do not fully know about the nature of sexual relationships, the areas of concern, where and how knowledge on sexual matters is gained, and how the sexual images portrayed in the media that are increasingly accessible in Iranian homes are understood, interpreted, and influence relationships. In focus groups, women were encouraged to speak in as much depth and with as much diversity as possible about questions, concerns, likes, and dislikes related to their sexual lives and also to discuss what they felt the effect of greater sexual knowledge would have on their lives and whether UHCs were desirable locations for sex education courses. Conclusion This study showed that non-vaginal sex among women is considerable and because of less favourable views of women towards such practices, it seems that these practices might have psychologically impacts on women's life.
